Dentures are typically a removable prosthesis that replace missing teeth. If you have lost many teeth due to decay, periodontal disease or something else, deciding to get dentures may make it easier for you to chew and talk and will definitely boost your confidence when taking pictures or having a conversation!

The down side to dentures is that although they will work, they will never function like your real teeth. As much as we try to create a denture that looks and functions like real teeth, the reality is that they are very different! However, with dental implants, we can get very close to the original function, appearance, and look without too many invasive procedures, long waiting times, or much discomfort.
